Meatball Sub on a Stick


1 lb lean floor turkey
1/2 cup complete wheat bread crumbs
half cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp dried Oregano
1 Tbsp dried Basil
1 Tbsp dried Parsley or 1/four cup contemporary chopped
half of tsp Crushed Purple Pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can Pillsbury Authentic breadsticks
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
12 (10″-12″) wood skewers
Marinara sauce for dipping

Preheat oven to 375°
Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Put aside.
In bowl mix floor turkey, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, Oregano, Basil, Parsley, pink pepper flakes and garlic. Type into 1 inch meatballs.
Open can of breadsticks and beginning with one breadstick at a time thread dough then meatball. Repeat the method with 2 extra meatballs alternating dough-meatball, ending with dough. Ensure to unfold dough and meatballs away from one another by about 1/four”, so the meatballs bake by means of and the dough has room to develop.
Bake for 20 minutes till the meatballs are cooked via. Take away from oven and sprinkle every skewer with 1-2 Tbsp of shredded mozzarella cheese. Place again in oven for two-three minutes till cheese is melted.
Serve instantly with heat marinara sauce for dipping.
